SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE

Since 2014, I’ve expanded my portfolio with a wide variety of social media experience in multiple industries including Biopharmaceuticals, Tech, Higher Education, Hospitality, Luxury Home, Corporate Real Estate, Consumer Goods, BioPharma, and more. Let’s take a deeper dive.

MILLIPORESIGMA -

At Millipore Sigma, my main responsibility was paid social, specifically LinkedIn Ads, where I was in charge of executing and planning all campaigns within certain business units. I was involved in editing copy, creative strategy, building relationships with stakeholders and internal partners, and managing brand guidelines for all digital channels.

METTER MEDIA -

At Metter Media, I was fully immersed in agency culture and was able to wear many hats in the world of social media. My role as Account Manager involved creating copy, managing various channels, creating TikToks, developing strategies, planning + executing social media advertising, and more for fourteen different clients. My clients here fell within multiple different industries such as tech, luxury home, corporate, hospitality, and more.

MCPHS UNIVERSITY -

At MCPHS University, I was the Digital Engagement and Communications Associate for both Alumni Services and the Center for Professional Career Development. I was a communications team of one within these two departments, and was in charge of maintaining and creating all things digital. I ran 6 social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for each department, and executed all other digital forms of communication, such as email marketing. Having the opportunity to wear many hats and utilize the creative freedom that had been gifted to me helped me to flourish within my role and develop my digital marketing skills more than ever before.

SMARTFISH GROUP -

In August of 2016, I began my career as an Account Manager at Smartfish Group, located in Marlborough MA. My main duty within this role was creating mock-ups for point of sale items for our large variety of clients. Krave Jerkey, Bark Thins, White Girl Rose, Four Loco, and Long Trail Brewing to name a few - in addition to this I managed content creation for social media.

I developed social media content for two of our clients, Lucid Absinthe and Sinfire Whisky.  I continuously thought of ways to learn more about the history of each product, and the voice of the brand. The Lucid brand voice was both historical and intellectual, where Sinfire was all about being the "life of the party". As you could imagine, juggling these two voices was challenging at times. Developing and practicing this skill is something that has helped me to both advance my social media marketing skills and grow in my career.

451 AGENCY (NOW ZOZIMUS AGENCY) -

During a 5 week winter break internship I worked alongside the Social Media Team aiding in the content creation process, analyzing new clients social presence, provided best practices for improvement, and dabbled in some basic graphic design. Ericsson, Astra Zeneca, Hologic, and Digium, are just a few of the accounts I had the opportunity to work on. I was able to participate in department brainstorms when new clients were put on our plate, as well as get a true taste of the cross-collaboration marketing agency dynamic.

MWPHE INC.-

From October 2015 to May 2018, I completed an internship with Massachusetts Women in Public Higher Education, an organization of all female professors in the Massachusetts State School system, doing both social media marketing and web design.

One of my main duties in this role was completing the redesign of  the MWPHE website using Word Press. Once completed, I realized WordPress was not the most user-friendly platform for our target audience. I then transferred the domain, and moved all of our content to be hosted by WIX, which proved to be a more user friendly platform.

As a part of my interview for this position, I created the “Be a Better You” campaign. This expressed not only the theme of the annual conference, which I marketed for months across all social media platforms, but one of MWPHE's core messages. Once hired, I immediately began the execution of this campaign. One segment that really took off was “Mass Women Wednesday”. Each Wednesday, we featured a new professor and gave additional details about which institution they worked at, and why they loved being a part of MWPHE. This became a fantastic way for members to learn more about each other, and put a name to a face, while leading up to the conference.
